Face Off : Out of hibernation and into the battle

Direct to the point - I haven't blogged for more than 2 months! TWO WHOLE MONTHS and more! WOAH! In an ideal Blog world, that might be my e-death... but who cares!

Where have I been you ask? Right where I was, really.
Living in Paris, learning French (which I can proudly say I am fluent at), meeting new creatives, working out a long term project, traveling, experimenting new lighting techniques, hosting friends, attending exhibitions and so on.
One thing I consciously wasn't doing... was constant social networking. Now, worry not 'coz I have no form of existential crisis nor was I trying to avoid an ex! Hah! I was simply concentrating on live human interactions & experiences sans the pressure of constant Instragraming, Facebooking, Tweeting, Blogging and blah blah. No honestly, I was experiencing reality total 90's style if I may say. I strongly felt like sometimes you have to stop staring at the world from your viewfinder and actually look up and let your mind capture some shots.

Now, lot happened over these weeks of course and couple of life lessons were learnt too. I also may have hit a low period on my creativity scale in between, but let's face it, who hasn't? Every artist does. Hell every non-artist does too. It's a natural human tendency. But there is so much to learn and so much to do. No time to swim in the shallow. Gotta dive right into the deep and beat the currents.
So i decided to turn my low down mode into a project :) After days of trial here are 2 fresh out of the oven - unedited cuts of it.

It's still in the rough experiment stage 'coz I feel something is missing. Or maybe I'm just over thinking.
But the idea revolves around the saying "The marks humans leave are too often scars" by John Green.
I know I know! It's pretty dark, considering it's festive season and all, Christmas time and the new year round the block. But again who cares!

None the less, let me know what you think or if any of you figure out what's missing!
Bonne Fête à tous! :)
